Actavo has appointed Ian Murdoch, Business Development Manager, and Wayne Bowers, Regional Sales Representative, to help further expand its shoring division, particularly in the South of the UK.

Actavo Hire and Sales has made the announcement following the opening Glasgow Shoring in July of this year. The recruitment of two new team members in business development expresses the business’s intentions to further expand its shoring presence in the South and the UK. Both bring a great deal of sector knowledge and experience with them, including working on high profile projects.

The company, which is based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, has twenty-three Hire & Sales branches in the UK and has Shoring operations in Uxbridge, Raunds, Birmingham and Glasgow. Actavo’s UK shoring operation was established in 2012.

Peter Bavister, Director of Shoring UK, said, “We are delighted to welcome Ian and Wayne to the business. We are entering an exciting period of growth and we need to support and nurture that growth with the resource it needs. I’m very excited to bring such valuable additional experience into the business to support our growing customer base.”

The new recruits will be based out of the Uxbridge and Raunds shoring operations and will be covering much of the South region along with the rest of the shoring team.
