Ashton Clifford, an apprentice at Adroit Services, has been crowned Apprentice of the Year at the 2025 British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathrooms Installation (BiKBBI) Awards.

The achievement recognised Clifford’s dedication to his apprenticeship and developing skills in the supply and installation of bathrooms.

The BiKBBI awards are dedicated to celebrating excellence in the KBB installation sector and this year’s awards received a record number of nominations across twelve categories. Each entry was rigorously evaluated by an independent panel of judges representing businesses from across the KBB industry, leading to a competitive shortlist of 48 finalists.

"I’m absolutely thrilled to have won Apprentice of the Year,” said Ashton Clifford. “It’s an incredible feeling to have my efforts and dedication recognised at such a prestigious level. I’m grateful for the support from Ideal Standard and Adroit Services; this opportunity has been a game-changer for me, and I’m excited for what comes next!"

“It's fantastic to have Ashton on board, and the news of him winning the Apprentice of the Year award is an achievement we couldn’t be prouder of,” commented Emma Butt, Managing Partner from Adroit Services. “It’s a true reflection of his hard work and passion for the industry, and we’ve watched him go from strength to strength since his apprenticeship began.”

Jo Edwards, Channel Director, Residential and Trade at Ideal Standard, commented: “We are incredibly proud of Ashton and his achievements during his apprenticeship. Supporting apprenticeships is vital for the future of our industry, and Ashton’s progress under the guidance of the team at Adroit Services and ourselves is a testament to the talent we can foster through these programmes. His commitment, skill, and passion have been rightly recognised with this award, and we are excited to see his career continue to flourish.”
