Specialist in drainage and sewer repairs Flexseal is set to expand its manufacturing and research and development in the UK as it rebrands as part of Fernco.
The innovative British brand, which designs and manufactures flexible couplings for the civils and drainage sectors, will be renamed under the global Fernco group from 1 August.
The move will allow both Flexseal, based in Barnsley, and US firm Fernco to continue their commitment to delivering innovation in the market and in particular developing products which support net zero carbon.
Lee Pashley, Managing Director at Flexseal, said the change in name offered an opportunity to further grow the British brand focusing on research and development to drive sustainability in the sector.

Started in 1989 Flexseal designs and manufactures the most comprehensive range of fully approved low and non-pressure flexible couplings in the marketplace. The British made products, which are at the heart of the civils and drainage sectors, are suitable for sewerage, drainage, plumbing and vent systems and as Fernco the business remains committed to Made in Britain.
