J.M.Blake Associates reveals kitchen product purchase behaviour

J.M.Blake Associates has put together an infographic based on research into the purchasing behaviours of 500 UK homeowners, all of whom had purchased a complete new kitchen.

Highlights from the findings include:
- Seventy-five percent of respondents chose to purchase from a retail outlet where they "could see and touch the products in the showroom"
- Consumers love their ovens - 86% purchased an oven as part of their kitchen refit
- Less than 10% of respondents were interested in shopping for kitchen products which were in a sale or on special offer
- Online reviews are more influential than verbal recommendation in five out of eight kitchen product categories.
