SCA Timber Supply has appointed a new quality assurance and control team across its three sites.

The new team of five will focus on the maintenance and development of existing processes and procedures to ensure that the quality of SCA’s products is in line with commercially agreed standards.

Headed by John Buffel, appointed as quality assurance manager, the new team consists of Richard Inskip, quality assurance coordinator, and three quality control coordinators at each of SCA’s sites: Dave Griffiths at Stoke, Peter Scott at Welshpool and Craig Kirby at the newly-established Melton site.

Mr Buffel, who has worked at SCA for 12 years, said: “As a team we are all very passionate about quality. Our main aim is to enhance SCA’s existing processes to ensure our products are of the highest quality standard at all times. We are working closely together across our sites to continuously improve our existing standards. We all know how important quality is and it is our job to ensure that we provide our customers with consistent quality.”
