Plenty of laughs at Buttle’s trade show

BT Sport presenter Ian Stone, ‘Elvis Presley’, a comedy magician and 36 manufacturers came together for Buttle’s annual trade show in St Albans in July.

Big names like Birtley, Bradstone and Celcon did good business on the night, and Dacatie stole the show when Quantum Profile’s sales director Steve Kean (AKA Steve Storm) took to the stage with his Elvis tribute act.

The exhibition and summer barbecue has become a regular fixture in Buttle’s promotional calendar, and this year the entertainment was headlined by top stand-up comedian Ian Stone, a regular on Radio 5 Live’s ‘Fighting Talk’ and presenter of BT Sport’s ‘The Football’s on’ during the Brazil World Cup.

Phil Norton, Buttle’s operations director, said that the event had been a big success. “As usual, we received fantastic support from our suppliers, who clearly enjoyed meeting our customers in such a relaxed environment,” he said.

“Steve Storm’s Elvis act is brilliant. If there are any other sales directors out there with star quality, please get in touch, as we’ll soon be auditioning for next year!”
