John Nicholls’ trade month is a success

Building and plumbing merchant John Nicholls has enjoyed a successful trade month event throughout June, which saw customers reap the benefits of special offers, giveaways and expert advice from top industry suppliers – not to mention free bacon rolls.
More than 50 suppliers were in attendance across the merchant’s eight branches to offer technical advice, showcase new products and promote special offers – including names such as Bristan, Ferroli, Sentinel and Reisser. Customers were also treated to breakfast and hot drinks, as well as a raffle that saw 75 lucky winners go home with prizes ranging from champagne to DAB radios.
John Nicholls’ Adam England hailed the event as a success. “During the trade month we saw a significant spike in collections across our branch network, and the customers visiting our branches certainly didn’t go hungry or thirsty, as we served up in excess of 2,500 bacon rolls and 5,000 cups of tea or coffee!” he said.
“It was great to see our customers interacting with suppliers in branch, discussing new products and doing deals on the day. Coupled with the work our external sales team put in – calling on more than 600 sites locally, generating new enquiries and opening accounts – the month was a real success.”
