Graham is now a member of BMF

Graham joins the Builders Merchants Federation

Published:  16 July, 2014

The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has welcomed Graham, The Plumbers' Merchant as a new member. The BMF now has a significant number of specialists in membership, and Graham will be involved in building the reputation and influence of the plumbing and heating sector.

Graham began trading in 1936 and is now part of the Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Group with 180 branches across the country.

David Gledhill, Graham's managing director, said: "I am keen that Graham plays a full part in the BMF and look forward to attending the next plumbing and heating sector meeting in November. I also believe that Graham can benefit from the BMF’s wide range of services, such as training. ‘Knowledgeable staff’ is one of three key promises we make to our customers and while we are constantly evolving our own programmes, I am sure we will also benefit from the many training opportunities offered by the BMF."

BMF's managing director John Newcomb commented: “This is further evidence that the BMF’s plumbing and heating sector is going from strength to strength. I’m delighted that Graham sees the benefit of membership and has pledged to play a full role in the Federation going forward, with representatives at both the next plumbing and heating sector meeting and at our annual Members’ Day event in September. By involving the industry across all sectors, we really are seeing the fulfilment of our mission to represent 'One Industry with One Voice'.”
