A team of 13 British Gypsum employees took on the national Three Peaks Challenge on 27 & 28 June to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Research, and the contruction and property industry's homeless charity CRASH.

The challenge involves walking the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales. The team started at the base of Ben Nevis on Friday evening, reached Scafel Pike at dawn on Saturday, and finished at the base of Mount Snowdown that evening, covering more than 480 miles.

Over £5,000 of the £9,000 target has been raised so far. Andrew MacGregor, raw materials buyer at British Gypsum, said: “We battled blisters and tiredness throughout, but it has all been worthwhile to have had such generous donations from all our sponsors.”
