Kent Blaxill has made two appointments affecting its Ipswich store and its senior management team.

James ParkJames Park, 39, the current Ipswich branch manager, has been promoted to the company-wide role of decorative manager, effective from 1 August. Mark Emeny, 48, will succeed Mr Park as Ipswich branch manager.

Mr Park’s new role will involve him overseeing the decorative business across the company and supporting branch managers. He will be responsible for the company’s decorative product range and strategy, promotions, pricing, store layouts and merchandising.

Mark Emeny“It is a more operational role and will involve me developing company-wide network efficiencies, as well as working on new branch development,” he explained.

Mr Emeny, who has an extensive background in plumbing supplies, is initially focusing on building up plumbing sales at the Ipswich branch before taking over as branch manager.
