Simon Martin has joined InSinkErator – manufacturer of food waste disposers and steaming hot water taps – as key account manager.

Mr Martin spent 12 years with Porcelanosa and brings with him industry and sales experience gained through key account management – in particular a substantial knowledge of national housebuilders.

Kevin Carr, sales manager at InSinkErator, said: “Our strategy is to deliver excellent support and service to our trade partners, while working with them to deliver business growth and profitability. Simon is an excellent addition to our team with his proven sales skills, wealth of knowledge and experience. He will be a great asset in continuing the communication of InSinkErator to the marketplace, and the development of new and future sales opportunities.”

Of his new role, Mr Martin said: “I am delighted to be joining the InSinkErator team and am looking forward to the challenges facing the business, and using my experience to help strengthen an already strong sales and marketing function.
