Kilsaran joins h&b Group’s ranks

Published:  12 June, 2014

Concrete and paving specialist Kilsaran International has officially been appointed as a recommended supplier of the h&b Group.

A quickly growing national buying organisation for independent builders’ merchants, the h&b Group aims to provide its 80+ members with a united platform to represent their interests in negotiations with suppliers.

“We have strict selective criteria and only work with suppliers who can prove their merit to the group, to ensure our members are entirely confident in our recommendations,” explained Jim Rance, chairman at h&b paving & landscaping committee. “Kilsaran impressed us with its extensive range of very well-specified paving products, from innovative designs to superb eco-friendly alternatives, offering some fantastic landscaping solutions.

“Our members will also be enormously interested in Kilsaran’s highly anticipated new paving range, designed in accordance with celebrity garden designer Diarmuid Gavin. Initiatives like these are a great way to refresh and reinvigorate the builders’ merchant environment, while delivering new paving solutions that stand out.”

Rob Taylor, UK director at Kilsaran International, said: “Working with h&b will allow us to reach new customers, giving them total confidence in our best-in-class service and quality products. The recommendation of the group is a substantial measure of our success in the field, of which we are very proud. We are looking forward to working with new builders’ merchants and extending our distribution across the network on a national level.”

He added: “The timing of the deal is perfect as we are extending our distribution plans for the new Diarmuid Gavin range, which is set to become a huge hit across the builders’ merchant network. It will be a case of first come, first served!"
