BSS invests in industrial specialist

Published:  09 June, 2014

BSS Industrial has appointed Paul Norton as its regional sales director for the industrial sector.

Mr Norton has been tasked with extending BSS Industrial’s dominance in the industrial sector in the central region, not only identifying opportunities to provide complete solutions to clients but developing the services on offer though the distributor’s dedicated account managers. The team will be continuing to focus its expertise on the water, power, food and beverage markets.

Mr Norton was previously BSS Industrial’s key account director for the industrial sector, targeting multi-site, national companies. He has worked with clients in these markets for over 20 years, allowing him to bring vast levels of experience to his new role.

He said: “The industrial sector is incredibly fast paced, making quick quote turnaround and unrivalled product availability through our Magna Park distribution centre a key part of our service. We also recognise that communication is critical as delays cost money, meaning a large part of my new role will involve managing a smooth and speedy process of sourcing solutions and getting products into the hands of customers. Knowledge and expertise is also vital, which clients can always rely on as BSS Industrial was built on the services it provides to industrial sectors. Combined, all of these elements create an incredibly exciting job role which I’m looking forward to fulfilling.”
