WASHINGTON, US: International forest product company, Weyerhaeuser, has appointed Altripan UK to expand the European distributor network.
Weyerhaeuser appointed Altripan UK as an approved stockist to increase the UK reach and availability of its sustainable south American plywood products. Weyerhaeuser has a longstanding relationship with Belgium-based parent company, Altripan.
This certified plywood range fits with Altripan's wider company commitment to sustainability and Altripan UK will be stocking the range of Weyerhaeuser's eucalyptus and pine plywood panels, which are manufactured in Uruguay, from trees grown on responsibly-managed local plantations, the company said.
