Mike Rigby and MRA Marketing have been at the forefront of brand building in the merchant industry.

Mr Rigby learned about branding during 10 years at Dulux Paints, before joining national builders’ merchant UBM to add the benefits of marketing and branding to profits.

Two years later, this boosted UBM’s value considerably when it was bought by Norcros and re-sold to Jewson. Then, as sales and marketing director and, later, managing director, Mr Rigby helped build Thurgar Bardex into a fast-growing PVC window group. When this was acquired in 1992, he set up MRA.

Mr Rigby and MRA Marketing have helped many leading companies build their brands and grow.
