Speaker Profile: Rita Clifton

Rita Clifton is a leading experts on branding. She has been called ‘the doyenne of branding’ by Campaign magazine and a ‘brand guru’ by the Financial Times.

She has worked with many of the world’s leading companies on their brand strategy, as well as start-ups and ambitious businesses in just about every sector. Ms Clifton was vice chairman and strategy director at Saatchi & Saatchi during its most successful period, and, for 15 years, was London chief executive officer and then chairman at Interbrand, the world’s leading brand consultancy. She now has a portfolio of directorships, including being chair of BrandCap, the brand consultancy for the boardroom.

Ms Clifton speaks around the world on how brands are the most important assets any organisation has, and why branding needs to be the central principle for any organisation to generate sustainable value. She also discusses subjects such as innovation, personal branding, branding in the digital age, communicating sustainability, and women on boards – as well as how to become one of the world’s most valuable brands.
