IKO welcomes back Steve D’Arcy

Published:  12 May, 2014

Steve D’Arcy has recently returned to IKO as business development manager for its structural waterproofing division.

Mr D’Arcy has over 30 years of valuable experience within the sector, much of it working for Ruberoid Building Products who were acquired by IKO in 2000. During that time, he has built up excellent relationships with builders’ merchants, contractors and specifiers.

In his current role, Mr D’Arcy provides essential technical support and assistance to the national team of IKO business managers and their customers. He also has a pivotal role to play on-site, providing design, specification and detailing guidance to specifiers and developers, as well as assisting main contractors, brickwork contractors and groundworkers with their detailing and installation queries. The ultimate goal is to provide the best, most practical, structural waterproofing solution to the problem.

Mr D’Arcy said: “This new role has provided me with the opportunity to take an holistic view of the structural waterproofing market and develop the IKO range for the current and future needs of the construction industry, enabling IKO to truly set the standard in waterproofing.”
