Mira volunteers transform Samís House

Published:  17 April, 2014

Twelve volunteers from Mira Showers recently worked with local artist Mike Kingston to brighten up Samís House, the purpose-built home for children undergoing bone marrow and stem cell transplants at Bristol Childrenís Hospital.

Using painting materials and equipment donated by Travis Perkins, the team took just a day to refresh the rooms with striking images under Mr Kingstonís direction.

The 16-bedroom home is run by Miraís nominated charity, CLIC Sargent, the cancer charity for children and young people.
