Taylor Wimpey has received a five-star customer rating for the third year in a row.

The company retained the maximum customer satisfaction rating based on reviews from homebuyers following an independent survey carried out by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) and National House-Building Council (NHBC).

Kevin Belsham, UK sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, said: “There is no better recommendation than one which comes from the people who actually live in our brand new homes, and we’re delighted to have been given the seal of approval from so many of our satisfied purchasers for the third year running.

“The survey results are fantastic, but we’re not surprised that our purchasers are so pleased because we work hard to ensure we exceed our customers’ expectations, both in the exceptional quality of our new homes and the first-class customer service we deliver.”

The survey sought the views of more than 30,000 newbuild homebuyers and revealed that nine out of 10 customers would recommend their builder to a friend. The results were announced on Wednesday 12 March at a special ceremony at the House of Commons.

Stewart Baseley, executive chairman of the HBF, said: “These results clearly demonstrate that consumers are overwhelmingly happy with the service housebuilders are delivering. The people who really matter – those who buy new homes as opposed to industry commentators – are giving us a clear thumbs up.”
