Horwood Homewares partners with Rainy Day Trust

Published:  20 March, 2014

Horwood Homewares is the latest company to support the Rainy Day Trust.

Based in Bristol, Horwood started life in 1896 selling hardware, enamelware and ironmongery to Victorian England.

“My great grandfather started this business many years ago as a faithful and reliable supplier, looking after the needs of the day as well as future generations,” said president Jeremy Horwood. “The Rainy Day Trust has similar values, and we are delighted to support the charity that exists to help those from our industry during difficult times.”

The Rainy Day Trust was founded in 1843, offering support to those who have worked in the UK’s home improvement and home enhancement industry in times of need.
