Wolseley UK searches for this year’s graduates

Published:  25 February, 2014

Wolseley UK’s 2014 Management Training programme is now open for applications.

The 18-month programme, which last year attracted over 2,300 applications, gives graduates the opportunity to join a FTSE 100 company and become part of the next generation of managers. This year, there are 10 vacancies starting in October.

Successful applicants will embark on a programme of regular training sessions, combined with online training and job shadowing, giving trainees the practical, hands-on experience required to be a Wolseley manager.

Nick Scott, head of employee engagement at Wolseley UK, said: “A successful graduate scheme is key to Wolseley achieving its employer-of-choice aspirations. We want to attract talented candidates into our team to help meet our goal of having the best branch staff in the construction industry.

“We believe that our graduate scheme is one of the best in the construction industry, offering a fast-track route to management along with the training required to be successful in a managerial role. We offer genuine career progression, a competitive reward package and fantastic training and development opportunities for our employees.”

Assessment Centres begin in April.
