Keyline has appointed Brian Fairley to the role of national rail manager, North, to support and further the growth of its rail business in Scotland and the north of England.
Mr Fairley’s remit is to continue the company’s expansion, supporting Keyline depots and existing customers while playing a pivotal role in the Keyline National Rail Division’s wider supply chain. He will be based at the Keyline Glasgow office.
Mr Fairley has over 30 years’ sales experience in the construction industry including manufacturing, contracting and merchanting. He joins from Lightways (Contractors) in Larbert where he was business development manager, working with a range of customers within the local authorities and utilities sector. Prior to that, he was regional manager for Build Center, part of the Wolseley Group, responsible for operation, sales and profitability in Scotland.
Richard Wade, rail sector manager at Keyline, said: “Our specialist rail division has seen business double in the past 12 months. Ensuring that we have the right people on board, such as Brian, is vital to this ongoing success.”
