bcg has appointed Steve Egerton as its new marketing manager.

Mr Egerton joins bcg from the sports and leisure industry, where he was marketing manager for over 12 years at Pure Fishing. His role at bcg sees him take responsibility for all the marketing within the brand, including brochures, promotional activity, trade advertising, websites, social media and customer-facing PR.

After 10 years in his last role, Mr Egerton felt he was ready for a new challenge in a different industry. “I’m thrilled to take up this new position at bcg and look forward to working with our impressive team to build on bcg’s continuing success," he said. "I’m particularly excited to be working closely with our merchant and retail customer base, to provide a high level of business support.“

Mr Egerton joined bcg on 2 January 2014.
