DRU Verwarming BV’s wood fires and stoves have been rebranded as DG Fires in the UK.
DRU acquired Dutch wood-stove company Dik Geurts in 2007. Since then, the production of all Dik Geurts products has been moved to DRU’s central factory at Duiven in the Netherlands, including the development of new models specially designed for the UK fireplace market.
Under the banner of DG Fires, the new products include the built-in Instyle and Prostyle ranges wood fires, which have been designed with clean combustion, high heat outputs and low carbon emissions in mind.
In order to support its retailers, DRU has also developed an exclusive ‘shop in shop’ concept for DG Fires with informative point-of-sale material.
“2014 will be an exciting year for DRU,” said Niall Deiraniya, DRU UK general manager. “As well as our established gas fires, we can now offer a comprehensive range of wood-burning products under the new brand of DG Fires. Together with our renowned customer service, rapid delivery times and marketing expertise, we expect to receive an enthusiastic response from retailers and consumers.”
