A bristling Movember team at Kent Blaxill in Colchester have raised £2,700 for the charity that supports men’s health programmes.

A total of 22 members of staff took part in the month-long challenge to raise awareness about men’s health issues, and in particular, about prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges.

The team organiser at the building supplies company was Monica Hartley who said: “In a male-dominated workplace such as ours, it is particularly important to raise awareness about men’s health issues and this is a fun way to improve the understanding of the health risks men face.”
