Baxi re-opens training centre in Dartford

Published:  05 December, 2013

Baxi’s training centre in Dartford has re-opened following a complete refurbishment.

To mark the opening, Baxi recently held an open day, inviting local installers to visit the centre to learn more about the training on offer.

The open day gave installers in-depth product demonstrations on Main boilers and Baxi Avanta, and taster training sessions. Companies including Fernox, Grundfos, Tracpipe and Kane were also on hand to provide mini demonstrations on their products.

Steve Owen, Baxi’s national training manager, said: “Since the training centre re-opened it has been a real success and we have received some great feedback. During the open day installers were encouraged to be very hands-on with the products. This is in line with how we run our training sessions, where over 60% of the day’s course is dedicated to practical, hands-on experience, backed up by essential theory. It was great to see attendees engaged with the demonstrations and presentations as well. They seemed to really enjoy the open day and we look forward to holding more in the next year.
