Siniat has appointed Neil Ash as its new managing director from 1 January 2014.

Currently sales and commercial director for the UK and Ireland, Mr Ash will take up the helm at Siniat in January 2014, replacing Jean-Michel Desmoutier who moves into a new pan-European role within the Etex Group.

Commenting on his new role, Mr Ash said: “It’s an exciting time for Siniat and I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to lead such a dynamic company. We’re ambitious for ourselves and our customers and have plans for major new investments – including at our Bristol plant - together with extensions to our product lines in new markets.

“This coupled with a construction industry starting to show real signs of recovery mean there is a tremendous sense of optimism here”.

Mr Ash has extensive construction and plasterboard industry experience and has worked in a variety of UK-based and international roles since joining the company in 1995.
