Burdens awarded Best Supplier

Published:  26 November, 2013

Burdens has been presented with a supply chain award from Optimise JV for providing exceptional levels of service to Thames Water.

Contract manager Dave Torr and purchasing manager Kenny Lewis were presented with the award by Bob Heathfield, chairman of the Optimise board.

“We were really proud to receive this award on behalf of Burdens,” said Mr Torr. “As with all contracts across the business, we work to ensure that our customers and contractors have what they need, when they need it. Exceptional customer service is what’s expected of us, so we make sure we deliver.”

The awards were held at Norden Farm in Maidenhead on 16 October and were attended by staff from Thames Water, Optimise, and other key suppliers involved in the repair and maintenance of London and Thames Valley assets.

Burdens has remained an Optimise Top 25 supplier throughout 2013.
