Ideal Bathrooms climbs Scafell Pike for charity

Published:  06 November, 2013

Following the successful climb of Ben Nevis last year, the Ideal Bathrooms team of intrepid climbers have been at it again.

This year an even larger party of 20 went to climb England’s highest mountain – Scafell Pike.

The team of directors and staff from Ideal Bathrooms and sister company International Decorative Surfaces was led by Ideal Bathrooms’ sales director Rob St Barbe.

“Some are better walkers and climbers than others,” said Mr St Barbe. “However these events are about teamwork and everyone pulled together to ensure the group was supported and assisted wherever required. It was a great day with everyone really feeling the sense of camaraderie and achievement. Well done to everyone.”

The climb has already raised almost £5,000 for the charity Barnardo’s.

This years’ climb completed a three-year programme conquering the UK’s three highest mountains. Ben Nevis was climbed last year and Snowdon in 2011.
