SHEFFIELD: Progressive Safety has been appointed the exclusive UK licensee for JCB Workwear & Safety Footwear and will be launching a new range in November.
The licensing deal covers the design and production of clothing and footwear bearing the JCB brand and Progressive is working with a variety of manufacturers to ensure the products meet the exacting standards of the licence.
Howard Topham, managing director of Progressive, said: "We have been distributing safety footwear and workwear for almost 50 years, so we felt it was time we used some of our expertise to introduce a new brand to the market."
The first wave of new products will feature a range of safety footwear styles and a selection of workwear.
The new ranges will be backed by a marketing and public relations campaign, including website, brochure and point-of-sales kits for retailers.
