IronmongeryDirect celebrates staff achievements

Published:  07 October, 2013

IronmongeryDirect staff have achieved Level One and Level Two accreditations from the prestigious Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI).

Wayne Lysaght-Mason, managing director of IronmongeryDirect, said: "This is another fantastic year for staff achieving GAI accreditations. With over 14,000 products in stock, there is a requirement for continual education, training and product awareness across the IronmongeryDirect team. As a specialist trade supplier, these qualifications are essential – not only for staff development but also the trusted advice that we can provide customers."

The GAI is a UK trade body dedicated to promoting the interests of the whole architectural ironmongery industry, architectural ironmongers themselves, and the manufacturers and wholesalers of architectural ironmongery products. At the heart of the Guild's activities is its highly respected education programme, a three-year diploma tailored specifically to educate people in all areas of ironmongery.
