Superglass Holdings has appointed Ken Munro as director of strategic development and sales.

Mr Munro will join the business on 2 September and will assume responsibility for all aspects of commercial strategy and demand creation including sales and marketing.

Commenting on Mr Munro’s appointment, Alex McLeod, chief executive officer of Superglass, said: “We are very pleased to have attracted someone of Ken’s calibre, track record and experience to the Superglass business. Ken joins us at a pivotal time in the development of the company as we build on our recent major investment and refinancing programme and position ourselves for future opportunities and growth. Having occupied senior positions at NCR Corporation and ESA McIntosh (part of Havelock Europa) Ken will also strengthen business leadership within our organisation at a particularly exciting time in our evolution and development.”

Mr McLeod added: “I would also like to thank our interim sales and marketing director, Allan Durning for his significant contribution over the past 14 months. Allan will be assisting Ken during a short transition period.”
