Independent timber and builders’ merchant Ridgeons has opened a dedicated heating and plumbing centre and counter at its Nuffield Road and Rocklands branches, respectively, as well as new kitchen and bathroom showrooms at its Norwich and Rocklands branches.
The opening of these facilities brings the total number of dedicated centres, showrooms and counters across Ridgeons’ 25 branches to eight for heating and plumbing and 14 for kitchen and bathrooms.
Ridgeons marketing manager Joe Douglas said: “The latest additions to our offerings at Rocklands and Norwich have been made as a result of consultation and feedback from our customers. The opening of these dedicated facilities demonstrates our commitment to acting upon our customers’ requirements in order to make it easier for them to do business.”
Open from 7am Monday to Friday, the dedicated heating and plumbing offerings at the Rocklands branch near Attleborough and the Nuffield Road branch in Cambridge provide a full range of heating systems including gas, oil, electric, solid fuel, and the latest renewable solutions. Stock accessories including controls, water treatment systems and a variety of first-class designer radiators are also available. In addition, design calculation facilities are also available to help customers measure heating system and under-floor heating requirements.
At the Norwich and Rocklands branches, two new showrooms have been unveiled, featuring the latest in kitchen and bathroom designs. Ridgeons’ kitchen range features ovens, cooker hoods, hobs and dishwashers from manufacturers such as Bosch, Neff, Indesit, Hotpoint, Rangemaster, Britannia, CDA and Aga Rayburn. A wide choice of sinks, taps and made-to-measure laminate worktops, plus an innovative sample door loan service, have also been introduced to make it easier for customers to choose their dream kitchen.
When it comes to bathrooms, whether customers need a whole suite and all the accessories or just a shower or change of tap, Ridgeons provides a range of sanitaryware, power showers, spa baths and whirlpool baths.
Both the kitchen and bathroom showrooms offer customers a free planning service using the latest computer planning software, enabling the creation of innovative kitchens, or bathrooms, complete with elevated drawings.
