Darts legend steps in at Farr & Harris

Published:  24 July, 2013

Darts legend Eric Bristow, five-times World Champion darts player and former I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! contestant, recently visited plumbers’ merchant Farr & Harris in Shrewsbury.

Mr Bristow was the unexpected stand-in for Mark Webster, former world champion, who pulled out after he sprained his ankle during a match the night before. Mr Webster was due to appear in the county town as part of a national tour for his sponsor Glow-worm.

Mr Bristow, who lives in Leek, north Staffordshire, gave customers the chance to pit their darting skills against him during the event.
