Kirby Sebastian targets growth with expanded distributor network

Published:  27 June, 2013

Kirby Sebastian (KS Bathrooms) has expanded into Scotland and Ireland for the first time, following the appointment of two new distributors.

FBS Plumbing of Falkirk has been appointed as Kirby Sebastian’s exclusive distributor in Scotland. The business has over 200 live accounts across Scotland, supplying bathroom products to retailers, installers and merchants.

FBS owner Alison Sime said: “The Kirby Sebastian brand dovetails nicely with our existing offering. It offers a broad product range with a high-quality finish and a very personal service.”

JJC Agencies, which serves a broad cross-section of 200 merchants and retailers, has been appointed as Kirby Sebastian’s exclusive Irish distributor.

The two additions to Kirby Sebastian’s network of distributors are anticipated to deliver significant growth for the company over the next 12 months.

KS Bathrooms was launched in 2011 and recorded impressive sales figures in its first year. As part of its growth strategy the company is aiming to at least double turnover year-on-year over the next four years, hitting £30m by 2016.

Andrew Bullingham, commercial director, said: “Delivering service excellence is at the core of our strategy and hopefully this is evident in the two distribution partners we have selected. Both FBS Plumbing and JJC Agencies are long-established businesses with excellent local reputations for providing excellent customer service. We look forward to a successful partnership with them.”
