Baxi scoops double win at Cemco awards

Published:  25 June, 2013

Baxi has been crowned Heating Supplier of the Year for a second time at the Cemco supplier awards.

Baxi was presented with the award at a special ceremony hosted by comedian and presenter Nick Hancock, which marked the end of Cemco’s annual conference in May.

Cemco is a buying group made up of over 30 independent merchant members and offers a platform in which to grow sales and improve profitability. The supplier awards are held as part of the organisation’s annual conference, and recognise the efforts of companies who work with Cemco, such as Baxi Group.

David Barrett, commercial director of Baxi Group, said: “We are delighted to accept this accolade from Cemco, which we believe reflects our commitment to developing relationships with independent merchants. We understand that one size does not fit all, and have tailored our processes to the individual needs of the members we work with. For us, it’s reassuring to know that this approach is being well received in the industry.”

Presenting the award on behalf of Cemco, David Hebdon, lightside trading director, said: “It is testament to Baxi’s standing within the industry that we have bestowed the Heating Supplier of the Year award to them twice in the past four years. We value greatly our partnership with Baxi and their commitment to our members – it is refreshing to find a large manufacturer with a national presence so willing to work on a local level with independent merchants.”
