NMBS Conference 2014 to take place in Tenerife

Published:  24 June, 2013

Tenerife will be the location for the NMBS Conference 2014, Chris Hayward, managing director announced at the BMF All-Industry Conference.

The event, which will be at the Gran Melia Palacios de Isora hotel, will be held on the 19th to the 21st June.

"We are keen to maintain the theme of an all-industry conference," said Mr Hayward, who added: "the future is clearly about nationals and independents working together rather than apart."

Without the support and sponsorship of suppliers, Mr Hayward believes that there would be "no conference, no exchange of central ideas and no guidance in working together for the future".

On the spirit of working together, Mr Hayward announced that the NMBS has got full endorsement from Unimer and the BMF for next year's conference.

"In particular they will be giving us guidance on what to do next year so that we can shape the conference so that it delivers on all levels," said Mr Hayward.

He added: "It's important that we all work together and deliver a great event. The BMF has set the standard for this year, but we will try and raise the bar. It's set at a very high level but with your support we can raise it."

The NMBS will be sending out booking forms at the beginning of July.
