IBC celebrates 150th member

Published:  24 June, 2013

After only four years of trading, buying group IBC is celebrating Builder Store becoming its 150th member.

"Reaching this landmark is particularly important to us,” said Vick Patel, founder and managing director of IBC. “As IBC evolved, it has enabled us to create a unique trading platform for both our members and suppliers."

Builder Store’s sales director Alistair Biggar said: “We are thrilled to be IBC’s 150th member. In the short time we have been members we have already started to see the benefits. We look forward to working closely with IBC and its approved suppliers.”

John Brett, IBC's sales director, said: "We are thrilled to have achieved this milestone. I think it's a real testament that IBC’s new innovative concept in our industry can be so successful. The support and direction from both NMBS and Unimer is greatly appreciated and we would like to thank them both. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with these well-established societies in the coming years.

"We are looking forward to the next four years with great anticipation and hope to show even more independent merchants the collective group benefits, savings and choice that we provide.”

IBC’s buying power continues to grow with over 80 suppliers and now 150 members. Visit the group's website at  www.iseewhyibc.com.
