Dunlop Adhesives has appointed Scott Hamilton as area sales manager to help drive awareness of the Dunlop brand and to increase sales with builders’ merchants and tradesmen throughout the south of the UK.

Mr Hamilton most recently held a position as area sales manager with Knauf Drywall. With just over 10 years of industry experience under his belt, Mr Hamilton’s new position will involve key account management, liaising with existing clients and progressing sales opportunities with prospective customers.

Dunlop Adhesives brand manager Debi Boulton said: “At Dunlop, we believe it is important that we maintain a quality relationship with both our retailers and consumers. We’re really excited about Scott’s arrival; as a valued member of our team, he will work to ensure we maintain esteem with our wealth of loyal customers. We have every confidence that Scott’s industry experience will help Dunlop to grow as specialists in adhesives, grouts, finishing and ancillary products within the south of the UK.”

Mr Hamilton himself commented: “I was first attracted to the position at Dunlop as it is such a widely recognised brand throughout the UK for producing quality adhesive products. The enthusiasm and passion the team show for the brand is very motivating and makes for a fantastic working environment. I believe my existing experience, combined with my enthusiasm and Dunlop’s current brand strategy, will enable me to further develop and drive the Dunlop business forward.”
