Total Plumbing opens first branch

Published:  12 April, 2013

LBS Builders' Merchants has opened its first dedicated plumbers’ merchant branch in Port Talbot, Wales.

Steve Matthews, Total Plumbing’s regional manager, said the new division “would bring the award-winning levels of customer service associated with LBS to plumbers across South & West Wales”.

Total Plumbing carries an extensive range of products for collection at the branch, with the option of next-day delivery to site. With easy access to and from the M4, Total Plumbing provides a quick and efficient service for all plumbing trades in and around the Port Talbot area.

Mr Matthews continued: “The tradespeople of Port Talbot and the surrounding area now have access to a first-class service for all their plumbing supplies from an award-winning local company. The Total Plumbing branch is open for business, and we are looking forward to welcoming all customers through the door.”

Lee Davies, manager of the new branch, is well known within the plumbing community and brings with him a wealth of product knowledge and experience.

He said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our new plumbers’ merchant, Total Plumbing. LBS continues to invest in and grow its workforce and branches, providing job security to our existing staff during what continues to be a challenging period for construction in the UK.

“Following the continued success of our specialist divisions such as Casey’s Roofing and Civils at LBS, it was a natural progression for the company to move into plumbing supplies and we look forward to the success of Total Plumbing.”
