A Bradford Building Supplies lorry recently rolled out of the merchant’s yard and crashed through a fence, before stopping at a garage.

Police confirmed that they were called yesterday morning to the scene off Ringwood Road, the Daily Echo reported. A spokesman said it appeared that a handbrake problem had caused the lorry – an 18-tonne dropside – to roll forward.

Nobody was injured but there was damage to the fence, a garage and a grey Ford Focus.
