Embracing the football spirit: MKM Sheffield South has two new 'signings'

The fun has started at MKM Building Supplies Sheffield South with two new signings – one a huge Sheffield Wednesday supporter and the other an avid supporter of Sheffield United.
Paul Southin and Mark Braidley bring over 50 years of experience to the team and are looking forward to helping MKM Sheffield South stay top of the league.
Mr Southin and Mr Braidley are top draws for MKM and well known with local tradespeople. They are able to provide a wide range of plumbing and heating advice, as well as expert knowledge in renewables. The whole team is keen to drive this part of the business forward as they aim to be a one-stop shop for all plumbing, heating, renewables and building supplies.
Mr Braidley commented: “Joining MKM Sheffield is a great opportunity for both Paul and I to introduce plumbing to the branch and help grow the business. We’ve already seen quite a few familiar faces follow us across to MKM, and they have commented at how impressed they are with our product range and competitive pricing.
“We’re particularly looking forward to developing the renewables side of the business. There has been a high demand for solar PV recently and with the Green Deal now in place, solar thermal, ground source heat pumps, biomass products and pellet burners are becoming very popular too. Insulation is also a growth area and we are able to supply everything a contractor needs to get the job done.”
As well as signing new key players, MKM Sheffield South has kicked off an exciting plan of expansion this season. Branch directors Ian Wild and Wayne Walsh have put plans in place to increase the branch’s lightside offering as well as constructing a ‘top of the range’ kitchen and bathroom showroom.
The showroom is under construction and should be ready by June/July 2013. It will allow architects and contractors to send their customers to view suites and kitchens before ordering, to make the process much easier.
Mr Walsh said: “Our new kitchen and bathroom showroom is a valuable addition to the branch, as is our new renewables showroom. Here at MKM Sheffield South, we are focused on delivering the best possible service. Our recent branch improvements and appointments highlight our commitment to driving the branch forward and delivering a one-stop shop service for our customers.”
Mr Wild concluded: “Since Wayne and I joined MKM Sheffield South 12 months ago, we’ve worked hard to improve our offering and listen to what our customers want. As an independent builders’ merchant, we are proud of the personal service we can offer and the relationships we have built with our customers. Here’s to the next exciting 12 months.”
