Students open Wickes store

Two schoolgirls got the chance to officially open the new Wickes store in York after winning a competition to design either a dream bathroom or kitchen.

The girls cut a ribbon at a ceremony with the Lord Mayor of York and received £50 toyshop vouchers for their efforts. Their pictures are on display in the store.
