F&P Wholesale is offering more with its Connections range.

F&P Wholesale increases its connections

Published:  21 March, 2013

One of the UK’s leading distributors of heating, plumbing and bathroom products, F&P Wholesale is now offering its Connections range of fittings to all customers together with an extended 3:30pm cut-off time and its well-established ‘One Tomorrow’ delivery promise.

Having now become fully integrated with F&P Wholesale, the comprehensive Connections product range of plumbing fittings and accessories is now available to independent builder’s merchant customers through one central ordering system, providing them with a complete one-stop shop for heating and plumbing products through one distributor.

The extensive ‘Connections from F&P Wholesale’ range includes hundreds of essential quality products required for a variety of installation work – whether fitting together bathroom sanitaryware, taps, towel rails or joining pipework. From air admittance valves and washing machine valves to ventilation fans, endfeed fittings and even cement, the product range covers all eventualities with indications where products are WRAS approved and conform to British Standards/EN norms.

F&P Wholesale Connections has also developed the Pro range of own-brand pre-pack accessories supplied in easy hang packaging exclusively for the independent trade market, ensuring that it is even easier for merchants to display items and make add-on sales.

With thousands of main product lines held in stock at the distribution centre, picking and packing is quick and efficient to ensure merchants get exactly what they require, reflecting the excellent customer service offered to all new or existing F&P Wholesale customers.

The entire F&P Wholesale Connections range is itemised in ‘The Plumbing Catalogue’ where product pictures and prices are provided for reference. Then placing an order is made easy by phone, fax or email. All requests placed by F&P Wholesale customers before 3.30pm from Monday to Friday are guaranteed to be despatched on the same day for next-day delivery.

John Peck, operations director for F&P Wholesale Connections, said: “As an established, leading distributor of heating and plumbing products, F&P Wholesale can now provide a one-stop shop for customers when it comes to plumbing and heating supplies – offering trade customers the complete installation package.

“Through one sales representative, customers can now discuss and order items from the entire F&P Wholesale range and choose everything they need from the same place, at the same time. The team at our Connections Distribution Centre has extensive experience of fittings and packaging, making our customers’ – and in turn their customers’ – lives easier when it comes to choosing the right products for every application.

“Building on F&P Wholesale’s well-established ‘One Tomorrow’ delivery promise, our distribution centres and teams of experienced staff mean we can deliver orders within 24 hours of them being placed. Our warehouse structure also means we can accommodate thousands of product lines – each with individual picking points – as well as holding bulk stores of products on site too. So whether merchants require one box of pipe clips or 100 boxes of isolating valves, we pride ourselves in our capability to handle all orders – no matter how big or small.”

F&P Wholesale has 10 dedicated distribution centres located around the UK, in addition to the Connections location, and only sells products directly to independent merchants and retailers – this means all customers can be comfortable in the knowledge they are getting the best possible prices available.
