Frank Key Group has recently acquired the Builders Centre, Sheffield.
Frank Key was founded in 1907 and has sites across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. It provides a range of products and services, including building materials, landscaping, tool and skip hire, kitchens and bathrooms, timber, doors and joinery.
The Builders Centre is a wholesaler of building products and supplies based in Sheffield. It is a subsidiary of the Dyson Group, which owns several companies in the building and engineering sectors.
The acquisition of the Builders Centre will complement and enhance the existing service Frank Key provides to customers. Both Frank Key and the Builders Centre are members of the National Buying Group and had a strong relationship prior to the acquisition.
James Norton, group managing director of Frank Key, said: “We are delighted to add The Builders Centre to the Frank Key Group of companies and look forward to growing the operations in Sheffield and the surrounding areas. The Builders Centre and its managing director Perry Eyre have an excellent reputation throughout the industry and this can only benefit the Group in the future.”
