Merriott Radiators appoints new sales director

Published:  12 March, 2013

Merriott Radiators has appointed a new sales director as part of its strategy to achieve number one market positioning.

Merriott Radiators, part of the Quinn Group, appointed Bob Parker as sales director to capitalise on the growing specification demand for bespoke designer radiators.

With over 35 years’ experience in the heating industry, Mr Parker has spent the last 25 years working in the radiator business, most recently as northern regional sales manager at Swiss company Zehnder, which produces innovative designer radiators.

Mr Parker explained: “Merriott Radiators is a very well-known brand in the industry and my main aim is to take the company back to being the number one manufacturer of bespoke designer radiators to the UK and Ireland markets. It’s a little-known fact that we are the only British radiator supplier to manufacture our designer radiators in the UK and this offers clear advantages for specifiers and installers alike. We can offer the breadth of products and innovative designs of other European radiator companies, combined with the supply chain, quality and environmental benefits of using a product manufactured in the UK.

“As the demand for designer radiators increases, specifiers and contractors want inspirational design but at the same time they need it to be high quality, have high heat output and short lead times, and that’s why the Merriott Radiators brand has so much to offer. We are also investing in research and development to continue expanding our product range and offer innovative new styles.”
