LEICESTER: The domestic (PTS) and industrial (BSS Industrial) divisions of The BSS Group plc are ready for the amended Part G building regulation, thanks to its BOSSmix range which already meets the new standard. Part G, which was amended in May 2009, means that as of October this year all new buildings will be required to feature valves which limit hot water temperature

Not only will these prevent scalding from hot water but they will improve water efficiency.

PTS and BSS Industrial offer a comprehensive range of TMV2 and TMV3 valves as part of the BOSSMix range, which already complies with the new Part G regulation.

Paul Bodycot, valves and controls product manager at BSS Industrial, said: “Both PTS and BSS Industrial have been offering thermostatic mixing valves as standard for many years. As we work with clients such as care homes and hospitals, as well as installers in the domestic division, BOSSMix has been a key range in protecting users from scalding. We look forward to educating more of our customers about the use of TMV2 and TMV3 valves and welcome the changes to this legislation.”
