NORTHAMPTON: Wickes is running a TV advertising campaign to promote its catalogue to reach a mass audience, as it shifts its focus beyond in-store promotions. 

A series of 30-second television advertisements, created by MWO, will continue the style of previous campaigns and carry the tagline 'It's got our name on it'.

The spots, featuring tradesmen ordering goods 'on-the-go', break today and will run until 6 February.

Previously, the DIY brand's marketing has promoted the quality of its own-brand products, rather than its catalogue.

Wickes is also understood to be looking for an agency to handle its loyalty scheme. The 'My Wickes Card' programme is currently managed in-house.
