WALSALL: Travis Perkins will not have to divest stores in the area around the BSS Walsall-Stockton Close store.
The Office of Fair Trading made divestment of several branches a condition of the Travis Perkins acquisition of BSS.
However, the OFT now finds there is no requirement for Travis Perkins to make a divestment in the Walsall area because a Graham branch of Saint Gobain operates within the 10-mile catchment area of the BSS Plumbing Trading Store.
