CARNFORTH: Failed plumbing and heating contractor Phil Rogerson left £1.7m owed to unsecured creditors. The debts include £965 000 to trade creditors, Travis Perkins and Wolseley UK. Employees were owed £281 667 in notice payments and redundancy pay.

The company went into administration in August after it failed to get paid by a building contractor. Phil Rogerson, who started the company in 1993, decided it could not continue trading and appointed insolvency practitioners from accountancy firm UHY Hacker Young as administrators.
